About Me
I'm Amanda Hill. I'm a friend, a baker, a mom, and I love to tell stories.
I've spent most of my career building communications strategies that engage stakeholders and help brands stay relevant to their audiences.
I always thought I would be a lawyer. Or a teacher. Then I was definitely going to be a journalist. But in my junior year of college (H2P), I spent a lot of time writing creative non-fiction and I took a public relations course taught by an an adjunct professor who led communications for several high profile companies in Pittsburgh. I realized there were a lot of ways to tell a story and that finding the right message for the right audience at the right time is extremely rewarding.
My work is focused mostly in higher education, specifically in areas where equity is a priority and access is the strategy. I would love to talk your ear off about the importance of tearing down obstacles for adult learners and how investing in people is never the wrong move.
Other things I enjoy: reading, playing with my kids, hiking, cat rescue, and sitting around talking about life with the people I love.
